Digital Photography winter workshops
Beginners Digital Photography Class will cover basic photo techniques that will teach you how to successfully compose an artistic photograph. While learning about your digital camera, lighting techniques, composition rules and the use of color to make your images pop... Students will test their photo skills while touring some of Detroit's well know places and hidden pockets. Please Note: You must provide your own camera and car for tours. Car-Pooling is totally permitted :-)Beginners Photoshop Class will introduce you to Adobe Photoshop, and the basics tools of the program. Learn how to make your digital images look like magazine photos along with learning how to make invitations, greeting cards and the like. Introduction to Studio Portrait Lighting for Beginners: Will cover various studio lighting techniques starting with just one light and progressing to advanced 3 and 4 light set-ups. The class will focus on the basic rules of lighting including how to create various portrait lighting styles, how to choose and use light modifiers to get the look you want, and the use of studio flash (strobe). The techniques learned in this class can be used for acheiving professional results whether shooting in the studio or on location. Please Note: You must provide your own camera and Studio Light Kit.
